Keynote Speaker Guidelines
As well-seasoned executives, keynote speakers provide advice and guidance related to many of the issues, challenges, and opportunities less experienced entrepreneurs will face along the path to success. By sharing innovative business concepts, best practices, and “lessons learned,” speakers also provide a roadmap for entrepreneurs determined to grow their companies and transform themselves into great entrepreneurial leaders
Format
Keynote speeches should be 20 minutes in length, with 10 minutes allotted for Q & A. Unlike the strict format guidelines for early stage company presenters, keynote speakers have flexibility to structure the format of their presentations.
Media/Handouts
You may provide handouts or brochure takeaways, but it is best if you simply speak from your experience, without props or media. If you are uncomfortable speaking without presentation media, we can provide an InFocus projector and screen.
Timelines, Materials, Contact
Keynote speakers are generally booked 1-3 months in advance. If you are interested in presenting, please contact Dayna Dudkowski at EDCO, to discuss availability and scheduling. You will need to submit a written summary of your company (about a paragraph in length), contact information, and a brief bio. This information must be submitted to Jennifer via e-mail 2 weeks prior to the event.
